Dear Hanmaum Youth, Parents, and church:

 

The beautiful weather has finally come, and it even feels like summer on some days! Our hearts are warming up with the change of season. This is especially true with the vaccine roll out going well and “normal” being right around the corner.

 

This month, we continue in the book of Luke and will do so through all of the summer. We are going to journey through this Gospel and see Christ’s work continue on through the book of Acts. This has been an exciting journey as we get to see our Lord and Savior up close and personal.

 

May also marks the launch of our College Seminar Series. This is going to be an ongoing series throughout the summer where we get together and pray and consider one of the biggest decisions of our lives. We will be inviting guest speakers as well as taking tours and walking through how to prepare for college applications and this important decision.

 

For this month, please continue to pray for all of our meetings and God’s hand of protecting as well as boldness in faith. Please pray for our students to finish the year well. As we prepare for the summer, we are hoping to have some more regular meetings and ask that you pray for God’s wisdom and for the opportunity to be open to us.

Upcoming Events

 

College Seminar Luncheon:

We will be meeting 5/1 and 5/15 to hear from older brothers and sisters. They will share their experience and provide wisdom they wish they had as a high school student praying through the big college decision. Meeting is on 5/1 and 5/15 at 11:30am – 1:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.

 

Serving Our Moms:

On 5/8, we will get together to prepare a special present for our moms. Meeting is on 5/8 at 12:30pm.
