To Hanmaum Youth and Parents:
Dear Beloved Hanmaum!
It seems like 2021 is flying by at this time. It feels like yesterday when we were returning from Christmas break and we thought we could not make it to MLK weekend. We are thankful for the peaceful transition that has taken place and we want to pray for our new leaders and for the country.
In February, we are taking some exciting steps to continue to fan the flames of hearts. We will be launching service projects for our students. They will mostly be outside and masks with social distancing is always required. Of course, we want to pray for you if you do not feel well, but we ask you stay home. Please follow our Instagram (Hanmaum_youth) for more news!
Our teaching continues in the book of Luke. This gospel is one of the most important books we will read and so we are going to take our time with it. Thus far, we have seen how rich the Christmas story really is and I hope we are getting exciting for the savior that is shown in these pages. During this month, we will go into a season of lent. Let’s prepare our hearts with prayer and a proper attitude towards God.
Soli Deo Gloria,
- Bernard Chung
