To Hanmaum Youth and Parents:
Merry Christmas!
For many of us Christians, this is the most exciting and joyous time of year. There is good reason for that. Even though our schedules fill up with end of the year parties and people to meet, shopping, gifts to wrap, and a lot of busyness, we still have so much joy! That is because we can share the love of Christ so freely during this time. We can remember that the Good News of Christ broke into our world when Christ was born!
December’s teaching is very exciting! Not only will we conclude Isaiah which talks about the end times in the last third of the book, but we start the Gospel According to Luke (Ch. 1-9). This is correct for us to think about. Any time we think of the birth of Christ, we should remember he came first so that he might come again riding on the clouds in glory!
This month, let us focus our hearts and prayers on lifting up Jesus’ name and fame above the holiday busyness. Let us lift up the names of those around us that still need Christ. Of course, let us pray for our seniors as many of them will be in the hardest part of their college applications. Good News! Christ has come and will come again
Soli Deo Gloria,
