To Hanmaum Youth and Parents:
Greetings of Grace and Mercy!
This year, my heart-felt thanks goes out to our students, parents, and church. Week after week, through a pandemic and uncertain times, we have students that come to worship, sing and praise, and grow through the Word of God. We give thanks during Thanksgiving not because it is a special time of year, but because we are always giving thanks and this holiday happens to be a day of giving thanks.
In November, we will continue on through Isaiah as we end the first part of the book and go onto see clearer prophecies of Jesus. This is a pivotal moment in the book as we begin to understand what it means to trust in God. We will also be doing Operation Give Grace where we seek to bless through gifts because God gave us the best gift of all in Jesus Christ.
Let this month’s prayers and thoughts be of thanks and praise! We are thankful as a response to all that God has done, is doing, and will do for we know that the promises of God are true. Let us always remember in that moment to pray for those who are less fortunate for us too.
Soli Deo Gloria,
- Bernard Chung
