To Hanmaum Youth and Parents:
Greetings of Grace and Mercy!
I hope this letter finds you safe and healthy during this pandemic that has affected our entire world. This season of Lent started off just like any other but will end in a state of social distancing and perhaps a Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday like none before.
However, we still celebrate the truths that are eternal and will never change. Our God is in control and He is good. Moreover, we take this time to celebrate the Cross and the Resurrection of Christ. The church is trying to be safe so we may not be able to join in the normal sacraments of Baptism and the Lords’ Supper, but this reminds us of why it is important to meet when we can.
During this time, please pray for the world and everyone that is affected by COVID. The death tolls are rising, but there is hope in all of this because we know God is still working. Also, please pray for the church and the people who are really stressed by this situation. We look forward to “regular” church. What a dream it will be!
Soli Deo Gloria,
- Bernard Chung
